Overview
Turning study choices into real pathways
Many secondary students in our partner communities have never met an engineer, accountant or nurse in person — so subject choices get made on guesswork rather than genuine interest or aptitude. Our Career Guidance & Mentorship programme puts working professionals directly alongside students, pairing them for regular one-to-one mentoring throughout the school year.
Beyond individual mentorship, we run career days and aptitude sessions that expose whole cohorts to vocational and professional pathways they may never have otherwise considered, and help students map their subject choices to the futures they actually want.

How mentorship pairs work

Enrol & Match
Students register interest and are matched with a mentor based on career interest and personality fit.

Map Strengths
An initial aptitude session helps the student and mentor understand where their strengths lie.

Every mentor goes through a background check and an orientation session covering child safeguarding before being matched with a student.
Most mentors commit to roughly one session every two weeks, plus attending occasional career days — a manageable commitment we work around your schedule.
Yes — several of our current mentors are former mentees. It's one of our favourite parts of the programme.
