As 2025 came to a close, we took stock of a year of steady, if unglamorous, progress: more students supported, more mentors trained, and a clearer picture of where our programmes are working well and where they still need to improve. Scroll on for the year in four chapters.
Attendance and performance tracked every term across partner schools.
Chapter 1 · Education Access
Scholarship support continued across our partner schools throughout 2025, with ongoing attendance and performance monitoring for every student on the programme — so problems get caught in weeks, not terms.
Chapter 2 · Mentorship
Our mentor network expanded steadily over the year, with a refreshed orientation programme and closer matching between mentors and the students they support, so pairings last and actually stick.
Chapter 3 · Community & Livelihoods
Our savings-circle and livelihoods work expanded into new communities this year, laying the groundwork for the vocational skills training planned for 2026 — proof that household income and school attendance move together.
Chapter 4 · Thank You
Thank you to our Board, our in-country programme team, our mentors, our partner schools, and every donor who gave — whether a one-time gift or a recurring monthly contribution. Here's to building on a steady year in 2026.
